Car Hire Firm Sues Over Crashed Bentley
A car hire firm in California is suing legendary singer Rod Stewart's son, Sean, for over 100,000 pounds following his crash of a luxury Bentley rental on Sunset Boulevard last September. The state of the art Bentley sports car was hired under Sean Stewart's fiance's name, Chantal Kendall. At the time of the accident Chantal was said to be driving the car in which Sean was a passenger.
However, the car rental firm is seeking damages against Sean totaling 133,000 pounds, which includes costs for the totaled Bentley, and also costs for loss of rental earnings from the vehicle being out of commission. While witness reports claim that a female was driving at the time of the crash, the legal documents filed in the case claim that Sean was in fact driving the car at the time of the crash.
